“The Hour” is At Hand In The Grand Ocean

One of the ancient Greek definitions for the word Edox is ” the hour”. The Swiss watch company Edox, has announced the release of the Grand Ocean Automatic Chronograph. The Grand Ocean’s dial is covered by a sapphire crystal face, with a screw-down crown. Automatic movement with a power reserve. The stainless steel case contributes to a weight of 167 grams. It also has a transparent case back in case your interested in watching the mechanical movement. You’d probably be more interested in the watch dial, with its luminescent hands and  indices as well as it’s chronograph functions. Of course the Grand Ocean is water-resistant up to 100 meters( 10 atm). Edox has also announced the Grand Ocean Chronolady with similar functions. Edox’s motto is ” Timing for Champions”. This time piece definitely says champion on any wrist whether you’re in the ocean, land or air.

  2. ISO 6425 is rated up to 100 meters. That means the watch will withstand water exposure, but not scuba diving down to 300 meters
